A Decade of Hits: A Look Back at Our Greatest Achievements of the Last 10 Years

What a decade it has been! Given that we started the 2010’s as a relative newcomer to the Perth homebuilding scene, it’s been an epic journey to get to where we are today: an established company with scores of satisfied clients and more than a few awards to our name.

Now that we’re at the start of a whole new decade, we thought now is a good time to take a look back at some of our greatest hits of the 2010s. They say that music is the soundtrack to your life, so we’re also going to remind you of the hit songs that provided the soundtrack to our amazing decade of success!

2010

 

ARIA Top Selling Single: “Love The Way You Lie” – Eminem feat. Rihanna

Inspired’s Greatest Hits:

Eminem & Rhianna might have topped the charts with their ode to dysfunctional relationships, but there was certainly no heartbreak here at Inspired. Not only did we open up our very first office, but we entered out first HIA Housing Awards and came away as a finalist in the Townhouse/Villa up to $190,000 category!

All said and done, it was a year full of important milestones that laid the foundation for all of the success that would follow.

2011

 

ARIA Top Selling Single: “Party Rock Anthem” – LMFAO

Inspired’s Greatest Hits:

The party certainly was rocking at Inspired HQ after we took out a HIA award in only our second year! While we never expected to come away with a win so early on, it gave us a taste for success and achievement and made us hungry for more.

2012

 

ARIA Top Selling Single: “Gangnam Style” – Psy

Inspired’s Greatest Hits:

You couldn’t go anywhere in 2012 without being bombarded by this highly infectious K-pop earworm (and people doing the accompanying silly dance). Similarly, it seems that we couldn’t attend an awards ceremony without being bombarded by awards.

After taking out the Perth HIA Awards for Excellence in Service Medium Builder, we then went on to take out the category for the entire state! Talk about being Psy-ched!

2013

 

ARIA Top Selling Single: “All Of Me” – John Legend

Inspired’s Greatest Hits:

While we’re all about the team effort here at Inspired, we also know that there’s nothing wrong with celebrating some individual achievements.

The HIA Business Partner award recognises the incredible work by those who play a key role in supporting small to medium size builders in the housing industry.

As the Operations Manager Danielle juggled many of the administration tasks to ensure the success of Inspired Homes in its start-up years.

It was brilliant to see Danielle’s efforts recognised when she took out the HIA Australian Business Partner of the Year. A well-deserved win!

2014

 

ARIA Top Selling Single: “Thinking Out Loud” – Ed Sheeran

Inspired’s Greatest Hits:

Entering the tropical-themed HIA awards ceremony as a finalist in three categories, we were thinking (out loud) that this was going to be a great night – and we weren’t wrong!

Taking out the award for two of the Townhouse/Villa categories really helped us to cement our reputation as one of the finest townhouse and villa developers in Perth.

2015

 

ARIA Top Selling Single: “Uptown Funk” – Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars

Inspired’s Greatest Hits:

Ronson & co’s dancefloor-filling banger certainly gave us the energy we needed to move into our new, state-of-the-art business premises in Wangara. It seemed that the change of scenery certainly didn’t hamper our performance, as 2015 saw us taking out another state-level award, this time for WA Apartment of the Year. Very funky indeed!

2016

 

ARIA Top Selling Single: “Closer” – The Chainsmokers feat. Halsey

Inspired’s Greatest Hits:

While the Chainsokers and Halsey were winning over the Australian public with “Closer”, we actually travelled further away to attend the HIA National Awards ceremony in Hamilton Island!

While we might not have taken out the award, it was still a huge achievement to have been recognised on the national stage. The local Perth award for the kitchen & bathroom excellence in showroom display definitely didn’t hurt either!

2017

 

ARIA Top Selling Single: “Shape Of You” – Ed Sheeran

Inspired’s Greatest Hits:

Given that we took out 4 awards (at both a local and state level), it was pretty clear that we were in pretty good shape in 2017.

We also celebrated our 10th anniversary that year, so it was great to see all of our hard work starting to really pay off.

2018

 

ARIA Top Selling Single: “Youngblood” – 5 Seconds Of Summer

Inspired’s Greatest Hits:

In addition to finishing off some fab display homes and launching our most ambitious advertising campaign to date, we also had our biggest-ever number of awards wins and finalists (a grand total of 12!).

2019

 

ARIA Top Selling Single: “Shallow” – Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper

Inspired’s Greatest Hits:

Last year the hits just kept on coming, and we found ourselves soaring higher than the high notes that Gaga and Cooper belted out in their chart-topping ballad. Achieving so much in a single year was an absolutely amazing way to finish the decade, and we can’t wait to see what the 2020s has in store for us!
